KILOS Re-open

Governor Scott has given “close contact businesses” the go ahead to open on Monday, June 1st.

!!THAT MEANS KILOS WILL BE OPEN THIS MONDAY!!

Like the state of Vermont, KILOS will be working diligently to reopen the doors in a manner that is both safe and efficient.

HOUSEKEEPING

From the feedback that I have received over the past few weeks, some are ready and willing to be physically present at KILOS while others are not ready for that step. With those considerations in mind, I am working to accommodate as much as possible. As mask wearing has become commonplace KILOS understands that some of you may wish to wear a mask while training, which you are welcome to do, however, KILOS will not be mandating or providing masks.

Each team member will need to schedule their training on Vagaro and time slots are first come first served.

PLEASE remove yourself from your scheduled training time if you have any of the following symptoms:

  • Cough
  • Fever or chills
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing (shortness of breath from prowler sprints is different – PLEASE know the difference)
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches (muscle soreness from training is different – PLEASE know the difference)
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea, vomiting, or diarrhea

I understand we are headed into allergy season, however, I will not be attempting to differentiate between allergy symptoms and potential COVID-19 symptoms and for the safety of our entire community, I will ask people to leave if I observe ANY of the above symptoms.

All team members physically attending KILOS will need to:

  • Wash their hands before beginning training and after finishing training,
  • Spray down equipment upon finishing activity (and no equipment sharing),
  • Stay 6 feet (two arm lengths, six chickens, or one cow) away from other members.

SEMI-PRIVATE TRAINING

All semi-private training times will now be held at KILOS. After much consideration, I feel that KILOS has enough floor space to safely accommodate 4 semi-private team members per hour. Doors will be open as much as possible, weather permitting.

GROUP TRAINING

Group training at KILOS will be limited to Tuesday and Thursday 6:00-7:00 am and Saturday 7:00-8:00 am and will have a limit of 8 team members.

Group training held virtually will have a limit of 12 team members.

OPEN GYM

Open gym will be held at KILOS on Saturday morning and will be limited to 4 people.

EQUIPMENT

As many of you know, most of the equipment has been lent to team members – I will be contacting people to schedule drop off times ASAP.

CLEANING

To provide the safest training environment, KILOS will be professionally disinfected on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday nights. Additionally, KILOS will be spraying down all commonly utilized surfaces following all morning and evening training times.

As always, if you have any questions or concerns, need clarification on anything, or want help distinguishing between symptoms such as muscle soreness from training vs. body aches, please reach out to me! I greatly appreciate you all.

Best,

Brad Collins
